'We're going on a cow hunt'

'We're going on a cow hunt'

Today we had a spontaneous opportunity to walk the children around the field and observe the cows that had just been released into the neighbouring field. The farmer was there after pick up yesterday (in his much admired 'loader') mending the fence so they didn't escape! We were able to talk about where our food comes from, and a bit about how milk is produced.

A BIG thank you to 'Anthony's Carpet Cleaning'

We were delighted to have Anthony, who runs a local carpet cleaning business, to come in this evening and donate his services to clean all our floors...free of charge! Thank you to Alison for the introduction and to Anthony for making our carpets, rugs, kitchen and toilet floors beautifully clean (and practically sparkling!) once again. If you're looking for a professional carpet, upholstery or tile floor cleaning service - do give him a call on 07462 900 999 or email anthon

The children are then given an opportunity to come and have snack as they wish to during a period of an hour or so mid morning. The children have adapted to this change really well. Another positive move fo
Getting mucky in the newly extended mud kitchen

Getting mucky in the newly extended mud kitchen

We've been busy finishing off a few jobs since the BIG Spring Clean in April, and now have two tables to extend our mud kitchen play area. Thanks to Leon who built them from old wooden palettes, kindly donated by Stuart at Blanchfords in Princes Risborough. It's great to recycle old items into something that can encourage plenty of imaginative play in our preschoolers.
