The Christmas Tree Festival

Over the last few weeks all the children have enjoyed creating beautiful decorations to adorn our entry to the Christmas Tree Festival at St John’s church. This is a great community effort, with lots of groups in the village coming together with their colourful trees to decorate the church. Everyone was thrilled to discover we won the award for best tree (out of 21 entries), receiving a wonderful trophy and edible christmas goodies! Well done to everyone involved.

The children, staff and parent volunteers thoroughly enjoyed their visit to St John's CofE Primary School next door to watch their Christmas play 'Lights! Camel! Action 2!' The performance was wonderful and the children were delighted to see some of their old Windmills friends as well as siblings at the show.

The children pulled off an amazing nativity performance yesterday. Well done to each and every one of them, and thanks to families and friends who came to support them. Lots of hats off to the staff and volunteers for orchestrating some very young children into something wonderful to kick off the festive season.
