Windmill under 5’s is an OFSTED registered, Committee run pre-school catering for up to 24 children between the ages of 2 ½ and 5. The group has been operating in Lacey Green for over 40 years and has strong links with (the adjacent) St John’s C of E Primary School, for whom we are the main feeder.

We are a community based registered charity offering a high standard of education to children aged from 2 ½ to 5 years within a happy, friendly and caring environment.

We are open 5 mornings a week:

Monday to Friday - 9.15 am - 11.45 am (Term time only)
Price Per Session: £8.00 for 2 ½ or ad hoc

Lunch Club:

Monday to Friday - 11.45 am - 1.15 pm (Term time only)
Price Per Session: £4.00 pre-booked or £5.00 ad hoc

The pre school operates under a management committee of parents who are responsible for the policies, finance and staffing. This same group organize fund raising events to help support and enhance our aims.

We are Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education) accredited which allows us to apply for funding to provide free places for eligible 3 and 4 year olds and we are a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance. Please read our policy statements and Ofsted reports.
