Settling in after the summer

What a lovely start to the term (weather aside!) The children have come back after the summer full of energy and enthusiasm. They‘ve settled back in nicely and have been making our new starters feel welcome.

This week we’re continuing to embrace all things autumnal. The children are particularly enjoying the wonderful, seasonal produce to be found, much of it home-grown. The children have smelt, tasted, explored textures and painted with a variety of fruits and vegetables, as well as ‘selling’ it in their role-play greengrocers.
