We are delighted to let you know that we will be extending our opening hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until 3pm. Starting after the October half term, children are able to be in preschool from 9-3pm, allowing them to have full days at preschool including lunch.
We hope that this will appeal to families who might like a little extra time to work, or make the logistics of school pick ups a little easier. In the run up to starting school, the older children will also reap the benefits of getting used to doing longer days, and they also get to spend longer playing and learning with their friends.
Places at these afternoon sessions will be reserved for the older children (over 2.5 years old) and allocated as per our Admissions Policy. Essentially, first come, first served. The government funded hours can be used to pay for afternoon sessions (both universal 15 hours and 25.5 hours extended funding entitlement). Any attended hours above these, or where you are not in receipt of government funding, will be charged at our £5.25 hourly rate. Please see our Fees Policy for more details.
Extended sessions can also be attended on an ad-hoc basis, just ask the Practice Manager or Administrator for more information.
If you have any questions or would like to know more, please don't hesitate to send us a quick message!
