A HUGE thank you to Buckinghamshire Council Early Years Team for this small grant to replace our rotten old pirate ship. A perfectly timed delivery too, with the warmer weather and focus on outdoor play, of our new obstacle course and climbing frame for the outside area.

After much careful consideration, and adherence to the latest guidance surrounding safe reopening during Covid-19, we're delighted to be welcoming back a smaller number of our children for the remainder of the summer term.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we have temporarily closed until such time as the Government confirms schools can re-open. We look forward to seeing our children and families again soon!

The children, staff and parent volunteers thoroughly enjoyed their visit to St John's CofE Primary School next door to watch their Christmas play 'Lights! Camel! Action 2!'

The performance was wonderful and the children were delighted to see some of their old Windmills friends as well as siblings at the show.

Thank you so much to our wonderful school leavers! They contributed to getting us a brilliant new wooden workbench for our children to enjoy from the start of the Autumn Term.

Making the most of the wonderful weather with our parachute earlier today.

Following the wonderful support we received from the local community in clearing away the waste mound, work has begun clearing away the nettles that have sprung up in its absence and planning how we're going to transform the space in the Autumn term. We sourced some tree stumps from a local tree surgeon and have created a new outdoor seating area to enjoy in the last few weeks of term.

We were delighted to have been selected to take part in the UK's biggest fungus growing campaign! We wanted the opportunity for our children to learn more about the kingdom of fungi - as there's so much more to them than the mushrooms that sit atop their pizzas!

Our GROW WILD fungus labs arrived in May and our 'Chief Executive of Fungus Growing - Angela' set to work refridgerating our mycelium whilst preparing the straw. Once the pasturisation process was complete, the children dispersed the mycelium in the bag and placed the box in a warm place, out of direct sunlight for 4 weeks. We're all looking forward to seeing what happens next...!
