Daily Routine

Your Child's Day
The routine of the session may change throughout the year – notice will be given. However, there will be a period of play indoors and outdoors. 6 structured activities are planned for every week, as well as a large variety of free play activities. Activities may include:

• Role play
• Art and Craft
• Small world play
• Sand and water
• Construction
• Painting and drawing
• Manipulative play (e.g. play dough)
• Cooking

9.00-11.30am

Self registration/Register call/Headcount /Free flow Play
• A variety of indoor/outdoor, child/adult initiated activities & crafts. Key Group Time

9.50-9.55am

5 minute Talk time

a combination of the below or a couple of which will be discussed
• Sessions activities
• Safe play discussions
• Show and tell

10.00-11.45am

Rolling Snack time
• Children will sit in groups and share a group snack time
• Once finished, children can resume play

11.30-11.40am

Tidy Up Time
• Children are encouraged to help with tidying up and putting away of toys and activities

11.40 am-12.00

Story time and singing time
• Singing/Rhymes
• Discussion about what the children enjoyed about the day’s activities
• Story

12.00 noon

Home Time – Morning Session

12.00-1.30pm

Extended session with Lunch
• Children are encouraged to take responsibility for helping distribute the lunch boxes & set up the tables for Lunch and to eat Lunch in a social environment
• Free flow Play - A mixture of indoor/outdoor, child/adult initiated activities & craft. Finishing off with a story and singing.
